Speaking of April Fools, the whole concept of this day has been a thrill for Whitney this year...except it's lasted ALL of April! Who knew that one day of silly fibbing could lead to weeks of using "April Fools" as an excuse for stretching the truth!
From Fools to Frozen...the fun continues! If I had to think of a phrase to sum up this month, it would be "Let it go." Anyone who reads this is breaking into an Idina Menzel chorus right now! That's just it, after hearing it 137 times, you just can't let it go!!! Whitney knows about every word to the Frozen soundtrack and it has been so much fun to hear her belt out the tunes with such passion! Even Ben and I can't help but sing along.
Embarrassing moment of the month: Whitney told the nice cashier at T.J. Maxx that he looked like Olaf, the snowman from Frozen. I am pretty sure she meant that as a compliment since she really likes Olaf, but when I look back at him in the movie, he has a pretty significant overbite, a large nose, and is rather goofy, so I was really hoping that the cashier had no idea what she was talking about! Zip it, Whit!!!
Easter weekend did NOT disappoint. After such a long winter, this was a glorious weekend. Sunshine, Easter eggs, chocolate, family...and Him! My Redeemer Lives!
We capped off the month with a successful garage sale...and our annual March for Babies walk in which we raised over $2,400 for babies! We had double the reason to walk this year.
