Retail...therapy??

So, I received 2 Victoria's Secret gift cards for Christmas because I was in desperate need of some new underwear. And, not just the $5 packs of "Hanes Her Way" that I have insisted on wearing since my c-section...almost 2 and a half years ago now! I wanted some nicer underwear...ones that wouldn't start fraying at the seams after 10 washes (I am exaggerating)! I finally made it to a VS store today and, while I did find some nice underwear (5 for $25...could buy 5 packs of Hanes with that!), I left the store feeling a little like....(NO, definitely not her...)

....more like, the "Biebs" (Justin Bieber- see fine print below). Enough said. Don't even get me started on some of the young marketing that VS does either! My "mother of a young daughter who will be a teenage girl one day" monitor is increasingly more in tune to the suggestive world around us!!!

So, while I ran to VS solo, my girl tagged along with me this afternoon to my favorite retail therapy location...the MAXX! Today was the first day that I have heard Whitney try to say the name of this most therapeutic of retail locations..."D.J. Mass!!!" Hey, whatever works! As long as it is in her vocabulary!!
