Summer 2011 has been flying by at record speed! I thought I would post some pics from June and July to show what Whitney has been up to! She has been running circles around Ben and me...literally! It has been so much fun to watch her grow and see her enjoying some summertime fun.

Whitney is kicking off the month of June with her good buddy, Kane, as they enjoy popsicles together!

We enjoyed a visit from our dear friend, Brent, and his youngest son, Rhoades. They live in Dallas and made the trip up from Mississippi to visit with us for a few days in June.
They drove in the night before I started teaching my first nutrition night class at a local community college! This was an exciting, and challenging, experience for me.
Whitney was quite the "Miss Bossy-pants" with Rhoades, but loved having him and Mr. Brent around! They were so easy to have!

Helping Daddy mow our weeds! She has won his heart. I don't think he will get it back anytime soon.

Enjoying a homemade watermelon popsicle after supper! Life doesn't get much sweeter! Whit kept exclaiming, "I love this!"

Leave Ben alone on Craigslist...and this is what he finds! A sand-truck! Whitney loves it!

Whitney and I got crazy over the long 4th of July weekend and decided to make our first mother-daughter roadtrip to Mississippi!! The good Lord was with us on our journey, for sure! We had a fun time with Grammie and Pop and then drove to Nashville on our way back to see Brad, Blair, and Ella.

Whitney loves her big cousin, Ella!! We enjoyed spending the 4th of July with our Nashville family before heading back to Indiana!

First haircut!! She did very well and loved getting a sucker at the end!

Can't have July without the Bartholomew County Fair...and enormous tractors!

Cheesin' it up for some pool time!!

So, when it starts to feel like Mississippi in Indiana, it's time for some indoor fun! Whitney will drop anything for a tea party. As you can tell, she doesn't discriminate. Even a one-eyed cyclops enjoys some tea-time.
Love the new pictures! I must ask, WHERE did you find the giant Muno? Santa might need to know.
